The 6th Annual Black Empowerment Series: Elevating Black Excellence & Economic Empowerment

Every year, Discover Brightside is proud to present the Black Empowerment Series, a powerful two-day event dedicated to celebrating Black Excellence and fostering economic empowerment within the Black community. As we mark our 6th annual event, we reflect on why we do this, what made this year extraordinary, and the impact we continue to make.

Why We Do This Every Year

The Black Empowerment Series is more than just an event—it is a movement. We bring together Authors, Speakers, Performers, Artists, Founders, Business Owners, and Nonprofits who are committed to driving Black success. Our mission is to provide a platform for knowledge-sharing, networking, and elevating Black voices in business and leadership.

What Made This Year Special

Held on Thursday, February 27, from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM EST and Monday, March 1, at 7:00 PM EST, this year’s series was packed with inspiring discussions, powerful performances, and innovative product launches. Through a mix of live and recorded sessions, attendees engaged with industry leaders, gained business insights, and connected with like-minded entrepreneurs passionate about creating lasting change.
